Dr. Steele-Wren has worked in a variety of clinical settings and is a licensed psychologist in Arkansas, practicing in the Bentonville, AR/Northwest, AR area. She also identifies as bisexual and has lived experience of ADHD, pregnancy loss/miscarriage, preeclampsia/high risk pregnancy, as well as chronic illness, which makes those with similar identities and experiences a great fit.
Her doctoral dissertation focused on how to better serve women’s mental health while facing breast cancer, also something she has personal experience with. If you would like to read her dissertation, please click here.
In addition, Dr. Steele-Wren is extensively trained in Psychological Testing and Evaluation and enjoys putting the pieces together in the investigative nature of testing.

Approach to Wellness
In her free time, Dr. Steele-Wren enjoys weight lifting, dancing, the great outdoors of the Natural State, cooking, painting, and photography (see her original nature photography below!). She is also passionate about traveling to new places, spending time with her spouse and their brand new baby, two dogs, friends, and admits to binge-watching her favorite television shows when she needs to turn her brain off.
Mary Ann Stewart,

Mary Ann Stewart was born in England as a military brat. She has lived most of her life in Arkansas, growing up in Jonesboro and living in Northwest Arkansas since 2006. Mary Ann has clinical expertise working with children ages 3-12, adolescents ages 13-18, adults, college students, and veterans as a licensed professional counselor. Settings she has worked in include community mental health, school-based services, case management, crisis management, the VA, college mental health, disability services, and private practice. She has personal experience with ADHD and chronic illness and loves to help clients learn to advocate for themselves to live their best lives.
Patients have described Mary Ann as warm, empathetic, compassionate, and truly dedicated to helping others.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, granted by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling, and earned both her Master’s of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She has 7 years of direct patient clinical practice in various settings, and also has 9 years of experience working with college students across various departments on campus. She is an American Counseling Association Member and is currently formally training her dog “Chewy”, a Great Pyrenees, to become a fully certified therapy canine.
Mary Ann’s specialized interests include Attachment, Child-Centered Therapy ages 4-12, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Neurodiversity, Grief, Chronic Illness, Trauma, as well as facilitating Group Therapy. Mary Ann has more recently been attending extensive training in the area of grief counseling.
Approach to Wellness:
Mary Ann enjoys spending time with her two dogs (also known as ‘the bears’ or ‘Bananas’ and ‘Grapes’), jogging, yoga, and weightlifting. She loves to travel and attend concerts with her husband. She also is an avid reader, a Razorback superfan, a cook, and you will always see her making memories through photography wherever she goes.
Tiffany Price,
M.S., LPC (She/her/hers)
Tiffany Price is a native to NWA and went to Rogers Public Schools K-12. She received her BS in Psychology from Southern Arkansas University (2014) and MS in 2016 in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She moved back to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to give back to the community.
Tiffany has had a multitude of clinical experiences including non-profit, school-based services, crisis management, psychiatric hospitalizations, and outpatient therapy. Her preferred population is adolescents (12-18) and young-middle age adults (19-45) and has strong experience with children (4+). She has a solid knowledge base regarding ADHD, anxiety and panic, behavior and mood dysregulation, body related issues, depression, self-esteem/confidence, self-harm, suicidal ideation and trauma-related matters.
Although she ascribes to a person-centered approach to therapy, she often utilizes interventions from many different modalities to individualize each client’s treatment. She believes every person deserves an opportunity to reach their full, self-identified potential.

Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband and their new baby, as well as their dog and cat. She also likes to binge watch tv shows and movies, visit new restaurants in the area, and travel. She loves Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Harry Potter; Disney World and Universal are two of her favorite places to visit.
Emily Veasey,

Emily Veasey grew up in several states, her family moving every couple of years until she graduated high school in Missouri. Emily moved to Arkansas for the second time to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she received two bachelor degrees in Social Work and Political Science. She continued at the U of A to obtain her Masters in Social Work in 2020 and worked in school-based services for 3 years until moving to private practice.
Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arkansas, practicing as a clinical therapist. She is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is trained in multiple modalities of Play Therapy. Her primary experience is with adolescents, as well as young adults.
Emily’s knowledge base regarding clinical services and diagnoses are wide-range. A few of her interests and experiences are in: trauma processing, neurodiversity, autism, anxiety, depression, adoption and foster care, attachment, behavior and mood dysregulation, stress and panic, and self-esteem.

Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and cheering on the Razorbacks. Her favorite type of tv shows are ones that involve solving crimes, where she tries to solve the case before it’s revealed. Emily loves working on house projects and finds them very therapeutic for herself, especially anything that involves tiling and painting.
Priscilla Fincher,
M.S.W., LCSW (She/her/hers)
Priscilla Fincher is a native Arkansan who moved to Portland Oregon after completing high school to experience new ideas and attend college. During this time, she mentored under an art therapist, volunteered at art therapy galleries, and was busy making installation art. She developed a deep love of working with children and adults on the autism spectrum, women’s issues, and people struggling to express their thoughts, emotions, and stories.
Arts and healing are Priscilla’s primary passions and she went on to earn her bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Psychology of Expressive Arts at Marylhurst University. After completing this time in Oregon, she and her husband, and then young daughter, moved back to Arkansas to be closer to family. She went on to complete her Masters of Social Work with a focus on clinical studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Priscilla has also obtained a four year certification in Sandtray therapy to be used with teens and adults. She later also developed a passion for helping people with PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression, and found that both talk and/or other forms of expressive therapies are highly beneficial.
Although Priscilla uses many expressive therapies; she is trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, CBT, Psychotherapy, and Somatic Release Therapy.
Priscilla’s partner has been a long-time chef and in turn, she has developed a strong knowledge-based passion for helping individuals in the restaurant industry and in high stress corporate careers.
Approach To Wellness:
Like many transplants, Priscilla and her family fell in love with NW Arkansas and moved here nine years ago. Priscilla enjoys art making, traveling, eating at fun new restaurants, and being involved in the community as much as possible through charity work and working with local artists. At home she enjoys spending time with her family, three dogs, and her talking parrot named Rex!
Christal Kennedy,

Christal has lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas graduating from Springdale High School. Christal attended the University of Arkansas where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and master’s in Social Work. Christal has clinical expertise working with adults including those who are non-binary, transgender, and those in polyamorous relationships, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arkansas.
Christal’s knowledge base regarding clinical services and diagnoses are wide range. Christal practices from a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Solution-Focused approach. Her main interests and expertise are in trauma processing, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

Christal enjoys spending time with friends and family. She enjoys walking, mindfulness practice, and has recently begun to reengage in yoga. She also is an avid reader and baker. Christal enjoys going on adventures and trying new things with her closest loved ones.
Nicole Plummer,

Nicole is a dedicated social worker with a passion for fostering therapeutic relationships grounded in compassion, dignity, respect, and unconditional positive regard. She believes in meeting clients where they are, offering a non-judgmental space where individuals collaborate to achieve their goals. Nicole works primarily with adolescents and adults, providing tailored support to address a variety of mental health needs.
Nicole attended the University of Arkansas where she earned her Baccalaureate degree in Social Work and then completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2020. Before entering private practice, Nicole gained invaluable experience in community mental health, where she honed her skills in offering therapy to diverse populations. She is particularly skilled in supporting neurodivergent individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment to stressors, grief/loss, and relationship issues. Nicole prioritizes holistic care and integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy into her practice. Nicole is committed to nurturing insight and awareness, helping clients build on their strengths and enhance their personal progress.

In her downtime, she finds inspiration and rejuvenation through her love of travel, exploring new places both near and far. She looks forward to connecting with you on your wellness journey!

Ashlee Richardson (She/her/hers)
Office Manager
Ashlee was born in Tampa FL and the second born to four children. She was raised in Southern California and at 18, she moved to Arkansas and has been here ever since, other than the most recent 5 years spent in Savannah, Georgia, for a new experience. She moved back to NWA this year to be home with her family and friends. She is a huge fan of the southern hospitality and embodies it herself.
She has two teenage boys that keep her on her toes and also keep her learning all the new lingo floating around society. She loves every minute of being a boy-mom. She considers herself a beach bum at heart and loves anything ocean-related. At one point she even wanted to be a marine biologist. Ashlee has 13 years of experience in healthcare administration and enjoys being the warm and friendly face you see when you come into our building and talk to when you call us. She has a strong a drive to help others and taking Psychology in college contributed to her excitement to be working alongside the other amazing women here at Psychology Works, PLLC. Patients have described Ashlee as willing to go the extra mile and very friendly and relaxed.
Approach to Wellness:
Ashlee loves music to relax and also pump her up for the day to come so she can be her best self to our clients. Most days you can find her out doing and giving back to the community any way she can. She also loves planning potluck meals where everyone gets together and enjoys indulging while just talking about everyday life. Ashlee definitely considers herself a FOODIE (especially when it comes to anything chocolate). She enjoys long, quiet drives to unwind and also painting and generally being creative. Mostly, though, she enjoys Christmas probably more than the average human and cannot wait to put her Christmas tree up and get ready for the holidays!
